At the Warriors we started working with a very talented artist from Berlin: Niklas Goldbach is into video art. He is taking “pictures with a video camera”. Beautiful, mysterious and haunting pictures. Check his website, the video tryptich Empire is a good place to start.

He did a video of a intersection in Berlin Mitte for a shop opening website we are currently preparing. We liked it so much that we put it on the frontpage of our own site as well. On the first look it seems like any ordinary urban scene, but there are numerous subtle/surreal/strange things going on if you look closer. There are three versions for day (image below), dawn and night, depending on your local browser time.
