Bayerischer Staatspreis für Nachwuchsdesigner Exhibition

If you are in or near Nuremberg, don‘t miss the current exhibition of the Bayerischer Staatspreis für Nachwuchsdesigner in the Neues Museum. The state of bavaria awarded this price to young designers of different fields. Not only is the exhibition showing some fine design works (and admission is free), but it also shows the corporate design of the award that I was working on the last months at the Warriors of the Light.
Its key element is a dynamic abstract graphic structure, based on the blue rhomb of the bavarian flag. It is now used on the catalog, on the posters inside and outside and also on the exhibition floor.

Here is something from my desk at the Warriors: We did a image brochure for bayern design, an institution that pushes design and innovation in bavarian economy. The layout and design was a collaborative effort of three fellow Warrior graphic designers (Verena Reiber, Nina Pusch and Peter Riedel) and myself. The photographs by Beppo Minx.
