One of the largest client projects I have ever done at the Warriors went online: The new online presence of SAHCO, developer and distributor of premium upholstery and decoration textiles.
It was done entirely in Flash focussed on high-end clients capable of displaying extra-large imagery with smooth animation. The site‘s core is the product presentation with lots of beautiful full-screen photography and matching background-music. The key feature: As soon as you look closer and roll over a textile shown, the automatic presentation is paused and you can dig deeper for more information about the product. You can even stuff the sample piece into the ever-present sample book on the lower screen edge and go on browsing the catalog uninterupted.

A click on any product in the presentation brings up a box with more information and color variants.

Any product can be saved in the sample book, for later referral, combination and print-out.
Behind the scenes this was the first time I did a flash site entirely in object-structured Actionsscript. That was the only way to do all the complex functionality. (Complex for me at least, I‘m still a designer, ok?). Yes, I like it!
