Going cyrillic

added on Wednesday, Aug 15, 2007 23:32 pm

Please excuse me, I will go on holiday tomorrow. My wife and I will spend a week in the Ukraine, visiting friends there. Which is kind of funny, because I spent the most part of last week doing the russian version of the HEAD Protection website (see below). We also had to draw the cyrillic version of Unibody for that purpose, will post about that soon. So I can say that at least the cyrillic characters are a bit more familiar to me now.

Holidays should be some time off, so that means that I will also not touch any keyboards. I think the digital camera will be ok, so at least you can expect some imagery after we get back.

In the meantime you can look for me in the new cover image above. It’s the Milchhof, the office building built in 1929 where the Warriors reside and work. The photo was done for the Albrecht Dürer Kunstverein in the lower right. By accident the photographer (I forgot his name, will deliver the credit asap) also took a photo of myself, sitting on my powerbook, obviously working. If you look close enough, you will find me. Hint: The Warriors’ office in on the middle right…

See you all in a week!
