Amora Icons

Spacey, science-fictionesque, and -- as always in David Lanham's works -- cute and quirky: The new full-desktop-make-over Amora from the Iconfactory. It's a complete system replacement icon set (also with many application icons) and a Shapeshifter Theme.

Although this time the icons are not so usable and suited for every-day-working conditions as in Lanham's last hit Agua, the level of clever detail is once again astonishing. Digging through the 129 reveals true gems in pixel art. Some pieces are a little too "loud" in my book for using it full-time. But I found several beauties to replace app icons and the like, that will surely brighten up my days in the next week.

The same holds true for the Amora theme. Although I'm not sure yet if I can stand it for working-mode, it is really well thought-out, beautiful and full of great details. I expecially LOVE the progress indicator and the DVD controller. Amazing.
